My ramblings...

Thursday, and all is well in the world of Larry. Valentines day came and passed with out incident. I was not familiar with the tradition of buying those around you gifts. As I am currently single I let this holiday come with out any preparations. I also blame part of this on the fact that I am a guy, and that really isn’t something that guys are very intoned too. My cuz bought me this print that you see above, I tried to take a picture with my digital camera but could not get the lighting conditions correct to do the picture any justice. Unfortunately all I could find online was the small one you see here, though it small it is still better than the ones I was taking. You can’t read the caption/phrase that accompanies it so here it is: “Quite Places The quieter you become, the more you can hear.”. I have to say that she did a great job picking this print out for me I think that it fits my personality quite well plus I love being on the water in a setting as the one depicted. I have it temporarily hung with a couple of tacks, I can’t wait to get a frame and hang it on the wall. I have chose a location over my bed, which fits nicely in the room. Other than feeling horrible for not having a gift to give in return it wasn’t that bad of a day. I relished in the fact that I didn’t have to try and impress a girlfriend and contend with all of the other guys that were trying to do the same.

Other news, school still sucks. Big group project we just started working on. We have to type a 5-10 page proposal on well just about anything. Data structures, I am starting to get back into the grove of programming. I actually just finished my homework that is due Friday night. That really surprised me since I thought these programs were going to give me the hardest time. I still have to put comments in and answer a couple of questions about the code itself but other than that I am done. We have our first test coming up next Wednesday, which should prove to be very interesting. I can’t wait until next week is over with, Spring Break officially begins on Friday the 25^th. Not really any concrete plans made yet, I definitely plan on getting in the kayak at some point over that week. I am sure that a theme park will also be visited. All of these will be solidified and whenever possible photos taken of the activities to share with you good people. I do have one photo I will share before I close. I found this leaf while walking Draco and thought it was really neat. The changes that are occurring on the leaf and just the coloration caught my eye. Well my bum is soar from sitting here for the last couple of hours straight so I am going to put it in bed and sleep the better part of the morning. Enjoy.
