Exciting Weekend

Monday is finally coming to an end. I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was absolutely awesome, I got to spend time with two close friends and take some time out to have fun. As you read in previous updates Riverdance was this weekend. The show in and of itself was wonderful but to top it off I was escorted by two absolutely stunning women. Bonnie met us here at the apartment where she finished getting ready then we went off to dinner at Carabba’s. Before we left I made the ladies pose for some pictures. (Me and Heather, Me and Bonnie, Heather and Bonnie) During dinner we sat at the kitchen bar (area overlooking the kitchen) which was very interesting. We got to watch as they prepared all of the specialties that they offered. Dinner was excellent as you might imagine from a place like this. It was nice to sit and relax for a while in good company I was thoroughly enjoying my evening already. As time neared we made our way to the Phillips Center to watch the show. If you have never seen one of these performances you need to go at least once in your life. This is my second time seeing Riverdance and I plan on going again if the come to our area again in the future. There are no words that can accurately describe the show so I am not even going to try; it is something you have to experience first hand. After about two hours we were on our back to the apartment. Bonnie left our company unfortunately, and Heather and I went off to play a couple rounds of pool. I am not sure who ended up winning, it never really matters we just go to have a good time. There was a young lady there that caught my eye that I never pursued. I did however, make and hold eye contact with her, something I very rarely do so perhaps I am making strides in the right direction.

Sunday morning came all too early; Heater and I were off to the Hogtown Medieval Faire. I had never been before and enjoyed it, I was not sure what to expect. There were gypsies and knights; lots of food and a plethora of vendors pedaling their wares. I fell victim to two of them and bought myself this really neat mug. I also bought this rope puzzle that some of you should expect to try and figure out in the future. Heather also fell victim, since she is a ‘princess’ she felt the over whelming urge to purchase headdress that only solidified her claim. Heather and I watched several performances that were going on, she even got to participate. I can’t post too many of these pictures as I am sure she will kill me, but she got pulled to learn how to gypsy shake. It was quite comical. We also watched actual jousting. The squire the knight pulled from the crowd kept getting in the way of my pictures but I did manage to catch a couple of good shots (another one) minus the fence. It turned out to me a wonderful afternoon, and I even got a little bit of a sunburn. When we finally left I had to get ready to go to work. I did go and have dinner with the family which was nice before having to deal with Super Bowl traffic. The night proved to be fairly uneventful, we did end up with one arrest but nothing more.

Today, not much today, I cleaned my room and tried to do some homework. Heather spent the day studding as she has her first statistics test on Wednesday. Other than that not much going on around the house. We stayed busy all weekend long, just in time to start the week all over again. Until next time.
